I have been advising on the development of wellbeing for many years. Both organisations looking to improve the wellbeing of employees/ staff and those offering wellbeing services to clients have benefited. My advice on wellbeing policy has been valued by government, and my advice on wellbeing research and teaching by academics in different disciplines.
I developed and tools and approaches for the measurement of wellbeing that have been very widely adopted in the UK and internationally. I offer advice on their use supporting the Welsh government, charities and local authorities in the UK.
Recent consultancies include one for the Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services and one for Northumbria University where I am supporting an NIHR Public Health Research Programme grant investigating the effects of Basic Income Support on Wellbeing.
I am an experienced and engaging lecturer, often invited to give keynote lectures at conferences, and have spoken on wellbeing, its determinants and solutions in many different sectors and professional groups. I am able to offer tailored lectures of various lengths, remote lectures and panel discussions as well as in person sessions.
