Why This Matters
In our fast-paced, head-driven culture, many of us live from the neck up — thinking more than sensing, reacting instead of responding and striving relentlessly with little rest. Such lives leave us tense, exhausted and disconnected from our bodies, each other and the living world. Life ceases to be enjoyable; we lose our sense of purpose and no longer have access to the body’s remarkable intelligence; we become vulnerable to illness and unhealthy relationships.
Although we may start from different places and have different needs and journeys to make, the insights and approaches of this workshop touch participants deeply and provide everyone with something useful
What This Workshop Offers
This weekend offers insights and practices that reconnect you with your core self and offer a new direction for your future. It builds on Philip Shepherd’s Radical Wholeness Workshops and Sarah and Candida’s training and experiences.
You’ll explore practices which help you reconnect with:
- 🌍 Groundedness — experience the earth’s support
- 💨 Spaciousness —feel lighter and freer
- 💧 Fluidity — flow freely round obstacles
- ⚖️ Balance — feel centred and aligned, balancing being and doing, sensing and thinking
- 🌟 Attunement — experience the subtleties of connectedness
The weekend offers insights, guided somatic practices and a safe and resourced space to:
- Learn about and gently meet stored patterns of tension and reactivity; giving yourself more choices in your future responses
- Develop your capacity for self-nurture, acceptance and integration
- Discover embodied resources to draw on in challenging moments
- Find a path to gradually make this embodied way of living your new normal
